In this conversation the actor talks about his screen image. He says that he always has a smile on his face and his dialogues are very popular on meme pages. He has become the audience’s favorite in meme culture. Before the shoot, he had doubts whether he should do this character or not, but the director had full confidence in him. The actor also felt that if the director is looking at him from this perspective, then he definitely has that quality inside him, he just has to bring it out. After the shoot, people liked his work and working with senior actors increased his confidence further. He says that if part two is made then the new character can be interesting and challenging. After this the talk comes to the change of the industry. Earlier in cinema, some actors were considered backup and lead roles always went to big stars. Now the same so called backup actors are coming on the front foot and the audience is also accepting them. However, he feels that this phase has reduced a bit now, because many big producers and directors have moved towards OTT platforms and there star value is being given more preference. Yet shows like Panchayat prove that strong content and honest acting can be successful even today. The actor admits that there came a time when he got good projects and he did very good and meaningful work during that period, which was very important for his career.
