Sanjay Singh’s shocking claim amid voting in Vice Presidential elections, ‘… so the results will be unexpected’

The election for the post of Vice President of India continues since the morning of Tuesday, September 9. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided who to support. The party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “The Aam Aadmi Party, led by National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, has decided that we will support the opposition candidate B Sudarshan Reddy. All AAP MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will vote for the candidate of India alliance.”

On the possibility of cross voting, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, “This parties will have to check in which party it is likely. There is no such possibility in our party. Neither we are doubting any of our MPs. All the votes of Aam Aadmi Party will have to get to Sudarshan Reddy.”

Talking to news agency ANI, AAP MP Sanjay Singh further said, “An example of cross voting was seen in the election of the Constitution Club, when the people of the BJP had crossed the cross voting. They voted against the favorite candidate of PM Modi and Amit Shah. If this happens, the results can be unexpected.”

On the decision of some parties like Punjab’s Akali Dal to walkout from the Vice Presidential election, Sanjay Singh said, “Boycott the election means supporting the BJP. Now the whole of Punjab and the whole country have come to know that at a time when the entire state is going through a tragedy, the Akali Dal is standing with the BJP. The whole country has seen what the whole country is.
