Bosco further said- ‘He gave us an opportunity to work with him, blessed and always encouraged us. I consider myself lucky that I knew the dance in his shade better. Acting debut made at the age of 3 years
Saroj started his career at the age of just 3 with a child artist film ‘Dazhana’, but his inclination gradually turned to dance. In the initial days, she worked as a background dancer and started learning choreography at the age of 13. He gave the famous dance director B.C. Sohanlal worked as an assistant and deepened the nuances of dance.

Saroj Khan became independent choreographer
The real turn of his career came when he got a chance to become independent choreographer. She started the film ‘Geeta Mera Naam’ as an independent choreographer, but was identified with the superhit song ‘Main Teri Dushman’ of the 1986 film ‘Nagina’. In this song, Sridevi’s tremendous dance won the hearts of the audience and Saroj Khan’s popularity also increased. After this, in 1987, the song ‘Hawa Hawaii’ by ‘Mr. India’ made him famous in every household.
Saroj Khan became a hit machine with a song
Saroj Khan’s career reached the seventh sky when choreographed the song ‘Ek Do Teen’ from the 1988 film ‘Tezaab’. This song not only made Madhuri an overnight star, but also gave Saroj Khan the status of ‘Hit Machine’. The success of this song was so big that for the first time in the Filmfare Awards, the category of ‘Best Choreography’ was started and the first award was given to Saroj Khan.

Choreographed over 2,000 songs
Songs like ‘Dholi Taro’, ‘Humko Hai Wait’, ‘Behind Choli’, ‘Beginning’, ‘Dola Re Dola’, and ‘Nimbuda’ made her the queen of choreography. Saroj Khan choreographed more than 2,000 songs. She was known for her different style, simplicity and discipline.

National Award won three times
Saroj Khan has received the National Award three times and the Filmfare Award eight times. He also participated in TV reality shows as a judge and encouraged new artists. He gave choreography the status of a respectable art, not just a profession.
