Saurabh bhardwaj on delhi pollution: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi Pradesh Convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj attacked the BJP’s New Delhi government fiercely at a press conference at the party headquarters on Saturday. He said that the BJP has once again defrauded the people of Delhi in the name of pollution. Saurabh Bhardwaj said clearly, “Before the election, the BJP had made big promises that it will end pollution from Delhi, but now all the hypocrisy has come out. These people are engaged in fooling the public.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that before the election, BJP had made a lot of noise about pollution in Delhi. Get big advertisements in TV, radio, social media and newspapers. Sometimes it was said that living in Delhi is getting reduced, sometimes breathing here is as dangerous as smoking cigarettes. He had only one slogan – vote for the BJP to save Delhi from pollution. But now when the BJP government was formed, Saurabh Bhardwaj asked, “Where did the magic stick, from which they were going to remove pollution?”
He revealed that the real game of BJP has now come out. In the new budget, the Delhi government had announced to set up some more air quality monitoring stations to check pollution. But where are these stations going? Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “The BJP has planned to install all the stations in the forest and lush green areas to fool the public.”
‘Station in the forest, cheating public’
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that there are already 40 air quality monitoring stations in Delhi. In some settlements, some factory areas and some in green areas. This shows the correct condition of pollution. But now the BJP decided to set up stations in 6 new places and surprisingly, all these places are forest or greenery. Such as – Central Ridge (near Civil Lines), JNU Campus, Jungle behind IGNOU, Yamuna bank near Akshardham and NSIT Campus.
He said, “There is neither factory, nor crowds of vehicles, nor people in these areas. Where will pollution come from here? The BJP deliberately chose such places, so that the level of pollution would be less and the public feels that the air is cleared. It is a deception of Delhiites.”
‘One day, three different conditions’
Saurabh Bhardwaj also presented the data of tomorrow’s pollution. The AQI (Air Quality Index) in the Wazirpur Industrial Area was 373, 334 in the residential area of Rohini, but on the temple route, which is a green area, AQI was just 156. Meaning, where people live and factories run, pollution is doubled. He said, “BJP took advantage of this. Put a station in the forest, show AQI less and say that we did wonders.
Saurabh Bhardwaj called it not just a cheating, but a criminal conspiracy against the people of Delhi “. He said,” BJP has not been doing anything to reduce pollution for the last 2 months. Now they are spreading lies by putting stations in the forest. Tomorrow, the old stations will be spoiled and only showing forest figures will say that pollution is over. Large headlines will be published in newspapers that CM Rekha Gupta made the magic of pollution. But in reality it is playing with the health of our children. ”
Saurabh Bhardwaj asked some questions to Delhi CM Rekha Gupta:
– “Which officer decided to install stations in the forest?”
– “Did the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) rules follow?”
– “If the rules were broken, then why did the officer not take action?”
– “Is the Delhi government also involved in this deception?”
He taunted and said, “If the public is to be fooled, then the seven ministers should put air purifiers and stations in their drawing room. AQI will come on 50. But Delhi is not a village panchayat that wherever the mind comes, stop the station.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that this game of BJP is a joke with the health of Delhiites. “We want people to know the truth. To reduce pollution, hard work is needed, not the tricks to improve the figures by installing stations in the forest. They appealed to the people of Delhi to understand this hypocrisy of BJP and raise their voice for their rights.
