What not to do on Sawan Purnima-
Do not consume meat and liquor- Tamasic food should not be taken on the full moon of Shravan month. Consuming meat and alcohol this month is prohibited.
Do not say quarrel or bitter words- On this day, no wrong speech should be used towards anyone. Along with this, you should also avoid lying.
Hair cut or nail cutting forbidden- On the full moon of Shravan month, haircut or nail cutting is inauspicious. By doing these works on this day, age is reduced.
Not wearing black and dirty clothes- Avoid wearing black and dirty clothes on the full moon day of Shravan month.
