Big news has come for the youth preparing for government jobs in the banking sector. State Bank of India has extended the last date of application for Circle Based Officer (CBO) recruitment. This is a good opportunity for the candidates who have not applied yet. Now candidates can apply till 25 February 2026. In such a situation, candidates are being advised not to wait for the last date and complete the application process in time.

State Bank of India is going to recruit a total of 2050 posts under this recruitment drive. This recruitment is considered a big opportunity for the youth looking for jobs in the banking sector. Due to the large number of posts, the chances of selection of the candidates also increases. Through this recruitment, eligible and talented candidates will get a chance to get a permanent job in the bank.
Ability
To apply for these posts, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed graduation from a recognized university or institute. Apart from this, the candidate should have general knowledge of banking sector and basic knowledge of computer.
age limit
For SBI CBO recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 30 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 31 December 2025. According to government rules, reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation. SC and ST category candidates will be given 5 years relaxation, OBC category candidates will be given 3 years relaxation and 10 years relaxation will be given to physically handicapped candidates.
selection process
Candidates will be selected in this recruitment in two phases. Written examination will be conducted in the first phase. In the written examination, a total of 120 multiple choice questions related to English language, banking awareness, general knowledge and computer will be asked from the candidates. This exam will be of total 120 marks and candidates will be given 2 hours to complete it. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for the next stage i.e. Descriptive Test and Interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in both the stages.
