Alines on k2-18b planet: Ever since humans started trying to understand the universe, a question has always been chasing. Are we alone in this vast universe? Now you can get the strongest answer to this question. He is connected to a 700 trillion miles from the planet K2-18B.

K2-18B is a planet that is out of our solar system. It revolves around a red dwarf star. This planet is two and a half times bigger than the Earth. It has been classified as “Hyasian World”. That is, a planet, which can have liquid water on the surface and is expected to be abundant hydrogen in the atmosphere. This is the feature that makes it suitable for life like Earth.

Who discovered this and how?
It is a revolutionary discovery in the world of astronomy, which has been discovered by Professor Nikku Madhusudan of Astronomy Institute of Cambridge University and his team with the help of NASA’s James Web Space Telescope (JWST). The telescope examined the light of the star passing through the K2–18B environment, dymethyl sulfide (DMS) and dimethyl dysulfide (DMDS) found indicating two special atoms. Both these gases are produced only on the earth towards organisms, such as marine phytoplinkton and some types of bacteria.

Is this a proof of alien life?
According to Professor Madhusudan, “This is the strongest indication ever to be a life on the K2-18B. We hope that it will be confirmed in the next 1-2 years.” Although the team and other scientists say more data is needed to confirm this discovery, but there was no indication before that, which was so clear.

Scientific importance of signs of life associated with K2-18B planet
The importance of this discovery can be understood from the fact that it is based on solid scientific parameters not only in fantasies. Powerful telescope like JWST has proved that we can also understand the chemical composition of planets located thousands of trillion miles away from the earth. If the gas like DMS is really present in the atmosphere of this planet, then it means that there are organic processes like Earth or can be there.

Can K2-18B be our first alien neighbor?
The signs of life from the planet K2-18B make us think that perhaps we are not alone in this universe. This discovery is not only exciting for astronomers, but can be the beginning of a possible new era to humanity. Where we will see the word Alien as not just imagination, but as reality.
