New color to eyes: During an experiment in the US, researchers put a laser beam in the eyes of the participants. In this process, he activated some special cells of the retina so that the participants saw a blue-green color which the scientists have named “Olo”. However, some experts believe that whether this color is really new or not can be debated.

According to the information, this experiment has been published in Science Patrika Science Advances and has been described by Professor Rain NG of University of California. He believes that this discovery can pursue research on Colour Blindness. According to Professor NG, who himself was involved in this experiment, “Olo” is more thick than any color that appears in the normal world. He compared it like this, suppose a light pink color all his life and one day suddenly he saw a dark pink color that has never seen before, then the same experience happened with this new color.
During the experiment, scientists put a laser beam in the eyes of the participants. There were a total of five participants in this experiment, including four men and one woman and everyone’s ability to see color was normal. Three of them, including Prof. NG also includes, this research paper is co-authors. A special device “Oz” was used in this experiment which included mirrors, laser and other optical devices. The device was previously developed by scientists at UC Berkeley and Washington University.
Explain that the retina of our eye is a very sensitive layer that turns visual information into electric signals and sends to the mind. It consists of three types of cone cells which include S, M and L, which are quite sensitive to blue, green and red colors.
