The matter of ‘secret rooms’ has come to light in the monastery of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth. A writer living in the monastery has made such a claim. The writer also claimed that no one is allowed to enter some rooms of the monastery. Swami Avimukteshwarananda’s reaction has come to light on this. He said that a school also runs inside the monastery. If we allow shooting then recce will happen and then there may be a security threat. On the claims being made about the Math and its rooms, Shankaracharya said that a story is being made up and spread. The story is all false. We ourselves are a monastery, a walking monastery. We are an institution and there is a class to preserve the institution.
