The administration has implemented Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) till 16 February. This decision has been taken with the aim of conducting important events like Republic Day, Guru Ravidas Jayanti and Mahashivratri in a peaceful manner.
Under Section 163, there will be a ban on gathering of four or more people in the district. Along with this, no kind of protest, rally, procession or public meeting will be allowed.
