Political turmoil has once again broken out in Lucknow on the birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan. Barricading has been done and heavy police force has been deployed to prevent Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav from garlanding the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan located at JPNIC today.
Last year too, SP President Jai Prakash Narayan was prevented from garlanding the statue, after which Akhilesh Yadav jumped the barricade and entered JPNIC and then garlanded it. There is a possibility that this time also Akhilesh Yadav may reach here with his supporters.
Police administration put up barricades
In view of the possibility of SP President coming to JPNIC, the police administration has already become alert. Taking precaution, the administration has increased security around JPNIC since late night. To stop Akhilesh Yadav, heavy barricading has been done outside JPNIC, along with this the road has been closed by placing tins and barriers.

On the birth anniversary of Jai Prakash Narayan, Akhilesh Yadav has given a message to his supporters by posting the lines spoken by him. He wrote- ‘What I mean by complete revolution is to see the most oppressed person of the society at the pinnacle of power – Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan.’

SP leader entered JPNIC late night
On the other hand, despite the best efforts of the police administration, the SP student assembly garlanded the statue of late Jayaprakash Narayan. Student Council President Vineet Kushwaha had sneaked in late at 2:00 in the night and garlanded the statue. During this time, State Vice President Amar Yadav was also present with him.
Vineet Kushwaha cleaned the statue around at night and then garlanded the statue at 6:00 in the morning. Akhilesh Yadav has also shared this picture in his today’s post. After garlanding, Vineet Kushwaha and his companions also came out and the police had no clue about it.
