Seeing the tiger considered to be the king of the forest, most of the animals get scared, but there is a bear in front of which tigers also retreat. It is called Sloth Beer or Indian Bear. Recently, there was a fierce fight between tiger and a female Sloth in Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra for about 45 minutes. The tiger thought that it would hunt easy, but the female Sloth retaliated in such a way that the tiger tired and sat in the pond.
Why is it dangerous?
Sloth bear diets are fruits, termites and ants. They do not hunt mammals, yet they are counted among the most aggressive animals in the world. There are many reasons.
- As soon as the danger is felt, they suddenly attack a bang.
- The tiger, leopard or human being, whoever considers enemies, breaks down directly.
- Their long and pointed claws hit the head and face directly, which can lead to the human eye.
Most attack on humans
According to an international research, between 1950 and 2019, these bears carried out the most attacks on humans.
- Sloth bear attacks- 1,337
- Tiger attacks- 1,047
- Wolf attacks- 414
- Polar Bear’s attack-23
Although tiger and lion attacks prove to be more fatal, but the sloth bears are at the forefront according to the number.
Why does the tiger give up?
According to the expert, the gardens are powerful but are unable to keep stamina for a long time. At the same time, Sloth’s body is dense and cryander. Due to which the garden is not able to hold his neck. This is the reason that the tiger often retreats when the collision occurs.
Decreasing number, increasing threat
This bear is dangerous for humans, but their population itself is also growing rapidly. Their number in the world is less than 20 thousand. They are on the verge of extinction due to shrinking and human attacks instead of living. Experts believe that the safety of both humans and bears can be ensured by understanding their behavior.
