Famous playback singer Arijit Singh recently announced that he will no longer be a part of the new playback singing project. On Wednesday, famous singer Sona Mohanpatra supported the singer.
Singer described his move as very positive. He says that Arijit’s withdrawal from playback singing is not an end, rather it is the beginning of freedom and a new journey. This is his own personal decision and there must be strong personal reasons behind it.

Sona shared a note on Instagram. In this he said that a big singer like Arijit has set a new example in the industry by doing this. No one would have taken such a big step for themselves before. He wrote, “Making a place for yourself, finding yourself, creating and singing music on your own terms is an act of bravery.”
Sona says that many singers will benefit from her decision. He wrote, “Nowadays, many good singers are limited to singing demos only. They rarely get a chance to actually sing.”
Describing the truth of the music industry, the singer said that risks are not taken here. He wrote, “The same voice is used again and again, because it seems easy and safe. Demo singers do not get money, they are only lured by the opportunity. Many times music directors get tired, and are forced to choose the same old voice in the end.”
He further wrote, “Hats off to you Arijit! May this new path give you happiness, contentment and creativity.”
Sona says why should we see it as goodbye? Arijit is making music, not disappearing. After all, why are we afraid of new sounds, new colors and new imaginations? Do we want to keep eating the same flavor of ice cream our whole life?
Sona saluted those artists who choose freedom instead of fear. This is not the end of his journey but his new phase begins from here.
