If you want to make a career in nursing or medical field, then there is a big news for you. Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Postgraduate Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow has issued short notifications for recruitment to 1479 posts under Group B, C and D categories. Nursing officer has the highest number of vacancies in these posts. Apart from this, many posts in technical and administrative sector will also be recruited.
Under this recruitment campaign, 1200 nursing officers, 81 OT Assistant, 64 Stenographer, 43 Hospital Attendant Grade-II, 22 Store Keeper, 32 Senior Administrative Assistant, 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologists, 6 Junior Accounts Officer, 6 Junior Accounts Officer, 2 Medical Service Officer Grade-II, 1 Technical Officer (CWS-1 Technical Officer) And 1 draftsman includes posts.
How will the exam be done?
The examination will be computer based and for this the syllabus has been uploaded on the website of the Institute. The exam will be conducted in Lucknow as well as selected cities of the country. One important thing is that this exam will be completely in English medium. Only Group D candidates can get some discounts in the language, but the paper will be in English for all other posts. In such a situation, the candidates of Hindi medium will have to take some care in the preparation.
How much application fee
Talking about the application fee, Rs 1180 (including GST) fee has been fixed for general and OBC category, while SC candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 708. Complete information about other categories will be given in detailed notifications. It has been said by the institute that the link of the application will be activated soon on the website. In such a situation, all interested candidates are advised to keep checking the website from time to time and read the notifications well.

How to apply
The application process will be completely online. For this, candidates have to go to SGPGI’s official website sgpgims.org.in. Click on the link available there to register first. After this, the application form has to be filled by logging. While filling the form, fill all the information carefully and upload the necessary documents. After paying the fee, submit the form and keep it print out for the future.
