Indian and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star batsman Rinku Singh narrated an anecdote associated with Shah Rukh Khan. He told how he got a chance to travel on a chartered flight with Bollywood superstar and his team owner Shah Rukh. This incident is from the time when Rinku was not included in the main squad of Team India’s T20 World Cup 2024. He was in the list of reserve players and was to go to Mumbai for the formalities related to visa.
Rinku wanted to refuse first
Rinku initially hesitated and tried to refuse several times. He had a question in his mind how he would travel with King Khan, what will he talk, and how to handle himself.
In an interview to Revspports, Rinku said, “At that time I was not selected in the main team, the bus standby was in the list. The team had gone and I had to go for a visa. Sir (Shahrukh) also had to go to the next day. My flight was booked and I was going to go alone. But somehow Sir or Pooja Madam came to know and he said that I should go alone. I will go, what will I try to refuse many times. “

Rinku was trying to refuse several times. But when Shah Rukh himself asked him to walk along, Rinku could not refuse. Rinku said, “Then there was a conversation in the car. Sir, I was giving me a lot of courage. My performance in that season was not right, so he was explaining to me and motivating me. That moment was very special for me, because for the first time I traveled in the charter flight, and that too with Sir. He was very spectacular for my life for two hours. The truth was indescribable.
