Recently, Jaideep has revealed that director Siddharth Anand did not want to cast him for ‘King’. After which Shah Rukh Khan himself offered a role to Jaideep.
While talking to Lallantop, Jaideep Ahlawat confirmed his role in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’. During this, he said- ‘As far as I know, Shah Rukh sir was thinking about it for a long time. But Siddharth (Anand) brother was a little hesitant to offer it because it was a small role after Jewel Thefe. But Khan saheb was only Khan Saheb, he said that I will talk to him. Now who could refuse them? ‘

Jaideep Ahlawat further shared the experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan during the film ‘Raees’. He told- ‘I really like them. In all my meetings with him, we have met five to seven times. Starting from Raees, where I shot with him for four to five days and even after that whenever we met, he always made me feel that I am the closest to him. He is a great person. There are some special quality in them.

Siddharth Anand is directing ‘King’ in which Shah Rukh Khan will be seen sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan. According to many media reports, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal and Anil Kapoor can also be part of the film. ‘King’ can knock in theaters on 2 October 2026. However, no official information has been revealed about the film at the moment.
