There has been a stir in political and religious circles after US President Donald Trump’s post confirming the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Bareilly’s Muslim religious leader Maulana Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi has given a strong reaction in this matter. He made serious allegations against America and Israel and termed this claim as completely false.
Maulana Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi said, “US President Trump has pushed the world towards destruction. The claim of America and Israel that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed in the attack is completely false. Both these countries are spreading lies and misleading propaganda to break the morale of the people of Iran. The people of Iran stand firmly with their supreme leader.”
He further said, “They want to break the morale of the people of Iran by spreading false propaganda. They want a coup in Iran. But the faith and belief of the Iranian people cannot be shaken by this false and misleading propaganda. The people of Iran stand firmly with their Supreme Leader.”
‘The people of Iran are not afraid of war’
Maulana said, “The people of Iran have faced and fought wars. They consider death as martyrdom, hence they have no fear or dread of death. It is Israel which works hard to protect its shelter and the life of each and every one of its citizens. The way the bomb blasts and missiles fell there have created an outcry in the whole of Israel. Everyone is in the bunker. It is hidden.”
Referring to Tehran, he said, “Tehran is a city where people are out on the streets. When missiles were being fired at Israel, children were celebrating there.”
Appeal for peace and tranquility
In his statement, Maulana said, “However, it is our prayer and the wish and wish of crores of citizens of India that the war should stop and peace and tranquility should prevail.”
