US President Donald Trump has given special instructions to his citizens regarding Pakistan. The Trump administration has issued an advisory asking citizens to think twice before going to Pakistan. This stance of America is being discussed a lot because for the last few months, Pakistan is feeling that it is close to Trump.
After Trump came to power, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has visited America twice and Shahbaz Sharif is also often seen supporting Trump on the international stage. Recently, Pakistan has also agreed to join Trump’s Board of Peace formed for Gaza. Meanwhile, America has updated its travel advisory and placed Pakistan in Level 3 category, in this category those countries are kept where there is threat due to terrorism and security.
In an advisory issued by the US State Department on January 26, it was said that Pakistan is at high risk from security point of view and terrorist attacks happen here without warning. According to the State Department, the greatest danger in Pakistan is around bus stands, hotels, markets, shopping malls, military and security bases, airports, trains, schools, hospitals, religious places, tourist locations and government buildings. Apart from this, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been kept in Level 4 category, this category includes those areas where going is prohibited.
The US State Department has urged its citizens not to go to the Level-4 area at all because incidents like murder and attempted kidnapping are common here, especially with government officials. This warning also applies to American citizens of Pakistani origin. At the same time, America has kept India in Level-2 category, which means that it is necessary to be cautious while traveling here. Especially in the areas bordering Pakistan.
