After killing Shakib, BSF had said on the basis of the recovered documents that Shakib belongs to Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. It is believed that Shahid has been spewing fire against India since that time.

Shahid Afridi had said about being related to Shakib that he has no brother named Shakib.
