In a conversation with Telecom Asia, former Pakistan all -rounder Shahid Afridi has demanded that Bada Naqvi of the Asia Cup controversy should step down. He said, “My advice or urge to Mohsin Naqvi Saheb is that you have 2 very important posts. These are very big posts and ask for equal separately. PCB and Ministry of Home Affairs have two different areas, so they should be kept separate. This is a very important decision, which should be taken soon.”

Afridi also said that Mohsin Naqvi should not be completely dependent on the advisors. Afridi says that Naqvi himself has agreed that she does not have much knowledge of cricket. The Pakistani veteran said, “They should keep such advisors who have a good understanding of cricket.”
