Shahrukh Khan gave this advice to Ananya Pandey
Ananya Pandey recently joined IFP Season 15. During this time, he shared an advice given by Shahrukh Khan. He told that King Khan had told him the formula to show emotions beautifully and naturally in the scene of someone’s death.
Ananya said, “Shahrukh sir actually told me once… I may be saying this completely wrong but this is what I remember, he once told me that when there is a scene where someone dies, instead of thinking about that person dying, think about what life would be like without that person.” He continued, “Think about going on with life, but that person is no longer there. Or think about the happy moments you spent with that person, and that will make you sad.”
Narrated story about cousin Ahaan Pandey
During the same session, Ananya shared another personal anecdote, in which she talked about the time when her cousin Ahaan Pandey contacted her just before the release of her debut film ‘Sayara’. He told that he was nervous and then how everything fell into place on its own, and Ahaan became a household name, and his film became one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2025.
The actress said, “My brother Ahaan’s film, Saiyaara, even before that, no one knew that this film was coming. No one knew Ahaan. No one knew Aneet, and I remember talking to Ahaan 3-4 days before the film came out. And he was just like, ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen. I hope people watch my film.’ And I said, ‘Yes, yes, people will see it.’ She recalled, “Then it made Rs 22 crore, that’s amazing! They created history. Times have changed a lot. You really don’t know what will work and what won’t. So you really have to give your best as an actor. For me, success is just being the best actor that I can be.”

Ananya Pandey will soon be seen in ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’. In this film she will be seen sharing the screen with Karthik Aryan. This is a rom-com, which is already in the news for the chemistry of the lead pair.
