He studied Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. After college, Shahrukh Khan also gave the entrance exam for engineering and he was successful in it. However, he did not take admission in engineering. Instead he started a master’s degree in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. Salman Khan did his early studies for some time from The Scindia School in Gwalior. After this his family came to Mumbai and Salman completed his schooling from St. Stanislaus High School, Mumbai. After finishing school, Salman started college, but he was not much interested in studies. His inclination was towards films and acting from the beginning. Salman Khan started his film career at the age of 23. In the year 1988, he appeared in the film Biwi Ho To Aisi and the very next year he got big recognition with Maine Pyar Kiya. After this Salman never looked back.

After completing school, Aamir took admission in Mumbai’s famous Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. This college is considered quite difficult and competitive. He felt that his real path was in films. Leaving his studies, he started working as an assistant director with Nasir Hussain.
