Sharad pawar on sanjay raut book: Sharad Pawar, the chief and senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party Sharadchandra Pawar, made serious remarks on the misuse of power and targeting political opponents by the government in the program of release of Sanjay Raut. He said that this is a program that people will remember.
Sharad Pawar mentioned Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and said that he spent 100 days in Orthur Road Jail and he has recorded that difficult time in writing. He alleged that whoever writes or speaks against the government is deliberate action.
‘His pen is not digesting some people’
Sharad Pawar further said, “Sanjay Raut ‘writes with great impunity in the newspaper. His pen was not digested by some people, he was restless and looking for opportunity. In the Patracha scam, Sanjay Raut was incorrectly implicated by the ED in the issue raised for the middle class for middle class people, while he had no direct relations.”
‘Raut wrote against the corruption of the government’
He also said that Sanjay Raut wrote against the continuous corruption in the government machinery. He had written a letter to the Prime Minister and told how some people are illegally charging money with the help of government agencies. Money was recovered from 30-35 people and when Raut wrote this to the prominent people, he was sent to jail.
He cited another incident that the ED, the son -in -law of Eknath Khadse, who was working in the Tata Consultancy in England, was called by the ED by calling him to Mumbai because he was expected that action was to be taken on Khadse. In the case of Anil Deshmukh, Pawar said that he was accused of 100 crores, but only one crore case came to light in the investigation.
‘Book exposes the misuse of power’
Amidst all these incidents, Sharad Pawar also said that these leaders gave courage to each other instead of fear. He also questioned TV debates. Sharad Pawar said, “How can people decide what is written in it without reading the book.” He clarified that this book highlights the misuse of power.
‘Opposition parties are being targeted’
While a minister at the Center, Sharad Pawar objected to the PMLA law and warned Manmohan Singh that this law could prove dangerous. He had said that if power has changed, then this law will be used against us and the same happened. He also said that only opposition Shiv Sena UBT, NCP SP, Aam Aadmi Party leaders were targeted during the NDA government.
