Mumbai Vs Assam In SMAT 2025: The match between Mumbai and Assam in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Captain Shardul started with a wicket on the third ball of the innings and the first ball of his second over. Shardul was successful in taking 4 wickets in just 7 balls. After this, in the third over also he dismissed one batsman and took five wickets for just 23 runs.
Mumbai’s comfortable victory against Assam
Thanks to the lethal bowling of Shardul Thakur, Mumbai won the title by defeating Assam by 98 runs. Whereas Assam team, which was chasing the target of 221 runs, was all out for just 122 runs in 19.1 overs. During this, Mumbai bowlers Sairaj Patil and Atharva Ankolekar also took 2 wickets each, while Shams Mulani also managed to take 1 wicket in his name.
