Share Market Holiday 26 January: Investors and traders are going to get one less day for trading in the coming week. Due to the national holiday, there will be no activity in the stock market in the beginning of the week. There will be a holiday in the stock market on Monday, 26 January on the occasion of Republic Day. Due to which no transaction of any kind will be possible on this day.

Stock market will remain closed on Monday
It has been decided to close the stock market on Monday, January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day. There will be no trading on this day in both BSE and NSE. After Monday’s holiday, normal business will resume in the market from Tuesday, January 27.
This year the stock market will remain closed on these occasions
According to the NSE calendar, the stock markets are going to be closed on several occasions between January and December. It has been decided to close the market on 3rd of March due to Holi. After this, there will be no trading on 26th March due to Shri Ram Navami and 31st March due to Shri Mahavir Jayanti.
The market will remain closed on Good Friday, 3 April. At the same time, business will not be possible due to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, Maharashtra Day on 1st May and Bakrid on 28th May. Apart from this, there will be no trading in NSE on the occasion of Muharram on 26th June.
Holidays falling in the second half of the year
In the second half of the year also, closure of the stock market has been announced on the occasion of many festivals. There will be no functioning of the market due to Ganesh Chaturthi on 14th September, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, Dussehra on 20th October and Diwali Balipratipada on 10th November.
After this, the market will remain closed on 24th November on the occasion of Prakash Parv, the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The last holiday of the year will be Christmas on 25th December. Apart from all these, the stock market remains closed regularly on Saturday and Sunday of every week.
