The BSE Sensex jumped 114.21 points or 0.14 percent to 80,654.12, while NSE Nifty was seen trading at 24,633.85 with a gain of 50 14.5 points or 0.06 %. Apart from this, both Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 took a lead of 0.3 percent.
Investors will keep an eye on these things
The stock market will be closed on the occasion of Independence Day on Friday, August 15, 2025. Meanwhile, the government is going to release its wholesale price index (WPI) data for July. The US is also going to release data for July its producing price index (PPI) and unemployment claim for August, which will be kept by the investors’ eyes.
Global market condition
The US stock market on Wednesday closed with an increase in the hopes that the Federal Reserve could relax its monetary policy next month. Dow Jones Industrial Average booured 1.4 percent, S&P 500 increased by 0.32 percent and Nasdaq Composite climbed up to 0.14 percent. While both index of Nasdaq Composite were around the record high level.
At the same time, a mixed trend was seen in Asian markets in early trade. Japan’s Nikkei 1.2 percent and South Korea’s Kospi fell to 0.03 percent, while China’s CSI 300 took a lead of 0.59 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng also rose 0.39 percent and ASX 200 of Australia also rose 0.66 %.
