Shashi Tharoor on India-Pakistan Relations: Under Operation Sindoor, efforts are on to support the surgical action taken by India on the terrorist bases located in Pakistan and POK globally. In this sequence, an all -party Indian delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor started a visit to America. The delegation started its journey with the 9/11 memorial in New York. It was a symbolic and emotional gesture that states that terrorism is a global problem and it would have to be answered globally.
Targeting terrorism on America’s soil, Shashi Tharoor said that we extended the hand of friendship, in return we found terrorist attacks. In a press conference held at the Indian Consulate in New York’s Indian Consulate, Tharoor said that the Pathankot airbase was attacked in January 2016, while Prime Minister Modi went to Pakistan only a few weeks before that. We have been repeatedly extending the hand of friendship, but in response we have got terror. Tharoor also mentioned the Mumbai attacks in which the attackers were receiving live instructions from handlers in Pakistan. He said that all this is a clear example of Pakistan’s state protected terrorism policy.

Pakistan showed the real face of Pakistan
Shashi Tharoor reminded the American public and said that just as the US hit Osama bin Laden under ‘Operation Neptune Spear’, India has targeted the bases of terror through Operation Sindoor. He also told that Pakistan sheltered Osama, which was hidden next to the army cantonment. This makes it clear that Pakistan’s commitment against terrorism is only cheating.
India’s new trend – “Kill loudly, beating cleverly”
In a press conference held in America, Tharoor said in clear terms that we gave international dosar, gave evidence but Pakistan refused. Now we have cleared the message, if you attack, then the answer will be accurate and intent. Through this statement, India is indicating that now terrorism will be stopped not only at the level of policy, but also at the level of action.
