He said that the terrorist who spreads terror and believing in democracy cannot be equal, so it is not right to compromise between them. He said that terrorists and their victims cannot be considered the same.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that when there is no equality between the two parties, there is no scope for arbitration. He clarified that it is not possible to weigh those who spread terrorism and people suffering from it in the same scales. He gave this statement in response to US President Donald Trump’s claim, in which Trump said that he has played an important role in reducing the increasing tension between India and Pakistan.

Shashi Tharoor is currently on a visit to America with a delegation of ‘Operation Sindoor’. On Thursday, he spoke during the ‘Council on Foreign Relations’ and said, “Media is a word that India does not accept.” He explained that such words create an illusion of equality between the two sides, whereas in reality there is no such similarity. Tharoor clearly said that those who spread terrorism and their victims cannot be kept at the same level.
The Congress MP said that a country that shelters terrorists cannot be compared to the country which is democratic and is in peace in its work. He also said that the country that wants peace and simply expects its neighbors to live peacefully, it cannot be compared to the country that wants to change the map of the world. In such a situation, when the two sides are so different, it is not possible to talk about some kind of mediation between them.
