Director Shekhar Kapur often expresses his views through social media. On Saturday he expressed his opinion regarding the use of AI. He posted a video on social media platform ‘X’.
He wrote in the caption, “We are not yet trapped in the clutches of any AI, and what is happening is just a web of inflated prices of companies or things beyond their actual value. If people are repeatedly told about rising prices, then people start believing it to be true.
What else did Shekhar Kapur say on AI?
He further wrote, “AI is here forever and it can prove to be helpful in making our lives even easier and more productive.”
Giving an example, he wrote, “For example, if your house is being sold at a very high price, then it is no longer just your house, but has become a part of the real estate bubble. This does not mean that you do not need a house, but its prices have become high, which can fall at any time.”
We are not going through an AI bubble. We are going though a manipulated valuation bubble. Valuation is a story that if told long enough becomes a myth.

The director has given many memorable films in his career, but before entering the cinema world, he was a chartered accountant in London. After this, he turned towards Hindi cinema and entered the entertainment world with the serial ‘Khandaan’ and made his directorial debut with ‘Masoom’.
After this came his superhit film Mr. India. This film is still considered people’s choice for its characters and story. He has directed films like ‘The Four Feathers’ and Elizabeth-I in Hollywood.
Recently Shekhar Kapur had announced that he will make the sequel of ‘Masoom’. ‘Masoom’ was released in the year 1983. After the release, Shekhar Kapur was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Director.
