Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are not having difficulties. In the case of fraud of 60 crores, some updates keep coming. Some are right and some are fake. Now Shilpa Shetty has decided to move to the Bombay High Court against fake news. This information has been given by his lawyer Prashant Patil.
Shilpa Shetty will go to court
Shilpa’s lawyer has said that recently it was reported in print and electronic media that Shilpa Shetty had received Rs 15 crore from her husband Raj Kundra about 10 years ago, which is being investigated by the Economic Offenses Branch of Mumbai Police. Advocate Prashant Patil said in clear terms that this information has been spread completely fake, misleading and with the intention of defaming them. He said that ‘My client Shilpa Shetty Kundra has never received any such money. These reports are being deliberately published so that their image can be damaged.
He further said that his clients will now take legal action against such malicious reporting. Under this, both criminals and civil cases will be registered on media houses and portals printing fake news.
Advocate Prashant Patil said- ‘We have always been cooperating with the investigating agencies and will do further. But strict legal action will be taken on baseless and defamable articles, because such reports violate my fundamental rights.
He also informed that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are now going to knock the door of the Bombay High Court against this defamation campaign. Also, all online portals or newspapers who have published such false news without verification, will have to face its consequences in the court.
