Shilpa Shirodkar said- On August 9, I made my love at the Film College Studio. It was one of the biggest launch pads. Sawan ji was making ‘Sautan’s daughter’, and I was playing the title role. It could not be bigger than that. But after two years, nothing happened. Sawan ji said that I am not making a film. If you get something from outside, take it. The actress further told that she promised to cast her with Sanjay Kapoor in a film called ‘Jungle’ by Boney Kapoor’s father. Although that film was never made.
‘I am wretched, I am a panounti’
The actress told that after this a well -wisher spoke to Mithun Chakraborty for her. He said- ‘Dada, two films of this girl have stopped and now the industry is calling her in various names, please launch her.’ He said that I am wretched, I am a panoti. Whenever I signed a big film, it stopped. But if you have strong family support, then these things do not matter.

After this, Shilpa Shirodkar made his Bollywood debut in ‘corruption’ in 1989. Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha were in important roles with him in this film. Shilpa played a blind girl in the film. After this, the actress worked in films like ‘Kishan Kanhaiya’, ‘Trinetra’, ‘Hum’, ‘Khuda Witness’, ‘Aankhen’, ‘Identification’, ‘Gopi Kishan’ and ‘Bewafa Sanam’. The actress was last seen in the television reality show Bigg Boss 18.
