In the Vice Presidential election, BJP -led NDA alliance candidate CP Radhakrishnan has won a big victory. After this victory, Eknath Shinde faction has taunted the opposition.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said that NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan has won the election of Vice President by heavy votes. There were a total of 781 votes, 767 lying, 15 were canceled.
NDA got 452 votes, opposition candidate 300 votes. There is a big difference of 152 votes. Hopefully, even after this defeat, the opposition will not cry for vote theft. Many congratulations to Radhakrishnan on becoming the 17th Vice President of India.

In the Vice Presidential election held after the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar, the opposition India alliance nominated former Justice B Sudarshan Reddy of the Supreme Court.
During the monsoon session of Parliament, on July 21, Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President citing health reasons. His tenure was left for two years.
In the Vice Presidential election, the candidates were from South India. Radhakrishnan is from Tamil Nadu, while Reddy is from Telangana.
