16 January 2026 is a very auspicious day from religious point of view and especially for Shiva worship. Because two fasts dedicated to Lord Shiva are being observed on the same date. Today, along with monthly Shivratri, there is also Shukra Pradosh fast.
According to the Panchang, today on January 16, there will be a coincidence of Trayodashi Tithi and Chaturdashi Tithi of Magh Krishna Paksha, due to which both Monthly Shivratri and Pradosh Vrat will be observed. But to get the blessings of Lord Shiva, devotees should not commit any mistake today. Therefore, definitely follow these rules.
