Anant Singh, accused in the Dularchand Yadav murder case and powerful MLA from Mokama, Bihar, has received a big blow from the court. The civil court has rejected his bail plea. Now Anant Singh will challenge this in Patna High Court.
Anant Singh was arrested for the murder of Dularchand Yadav on October 30 during the campaign for Bihar Assembly elections. Since then Anant Singh is lodged in Beur jail.

Anant Singh had filed his bail petition in the court while in jail. Anant Singh’s petition has been rejected by Patna Civil Court. Because of this Anant Singh will have to remain in jail for now. Anant Singh has suffered a major setback after the court order.
Anant Singh was accused of murder in Mokama during Bihar Assembly elections. Jansuraj Party supporter Dularchand Yadav was murdered in Mokama. Due to the allegations, Anant Singh was arrested by the police midway through the elections and sent to jail. Since then he is in jail.
Won the election while in jail
Anant Singh was a candidate from Mokama assembly constituency at the time of the murder. Went to jail mid-election. After this, party supporters and their family members campaigned. In the results of Bihar elections, Anant Singh won by a margin of more than 28 thousand votes.
RJD’s Veena Devi, who was contesting against him, could not succeed in winning this election. Despite these allegations, Anant Singh’s workers and supporters gave their full support. Due to which he won the election from Mokama Assembly.
After winning the elections while in jail, Anant Singh had approached the court. So that they can get relief. At present his petition has been rejected by the court. After this Anant Singh’s troubles have increased.
