What is the story of Sholay?
The story of Sholay revolves around Ramgarh village, where retired police chief Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) plans to catch the notorious dacoit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) and take the help of two small criminals, Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra). When Gabbar attacks the village, Jai and Veeru are surprised why Thakur does nothing to help him. He soon comes to know that Gabbar gave Thakur’s hands. After this, they double their efforts to help Thakur.
