If you understand in simple words, if a woman’s height is small, then the weight of her child can be reduced. But this problem can be reduced by taking diet and proper care.

All research has been done on this, in which it was found that the short height woman may have to face more problems during pregnancy and delivery. According to the study of Bjog (Wiley Journal), women with small height have seen more gestational diabetes, preterm berth and C-section delivery. Apart from this, there is a risk of child mortality and undernotation in children. The most danger thing in this is when the woman’s height is small and her weight is also low. According to this published South Asia Study, if the woman is overweight with short height, then the relationship of C-section increases by 170 percent. However, one thing also has to be kept in mind that it does not mean that women with small height are threatened.
