Shri amarnath yatra 2025: Along with the Jammu and Kashmir administration, the police has also started an exercise to make the Shri Amarnath Yatra safe starting from July. On Monday, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range inspected Jammu KK Logue Centers in view of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025 and gave necessary instructions.

On Monday, DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma of Jammu Range along with senior police officers visited several logging centers of Amarnath pilgrims stay in Jammu.

DIG reviewed preparations for security

The DIG reviewed the security of Saraswati Dham, Vaishnavi Dham and Kalika Dham railway station Jammu in Jammu. During the review, DIG JSK Range inspected the guards posted in and around Saraswati, Vaishnavi and Kalika Dham, checking on the way, CCTV cameras installed, parking area etc.

DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma gave necessary guidelines to the officials to make security arrangements around the venues. Apart from this, the officers posted at the venue were also given necessary information regarding the sensitivity and nature of duty, so that passengers can enjoy safe journey. These soldiers have been instructed to take additional vigilance at their points.
During the journey, strategies to manage the expected heavy influx of pilgrims including traffic regulations, emergency services, disaster management plans to deal with health issues and emergency conditions were also reviewed.

Arrangements for passengers at Jammu station
Arrangements have been made to stop near Jammu railway station for passengers reaching Jammu by rail. Arrangements have been made for the stay of passengers near Jammu railway station, but passengers can also register here.
