Shubman gill fight: Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill’s agreation is seeing this IPL tournament. Gill clashed with the umpire twice in the match held on Friday, 2 May. Only after this argument between Gill and the umpire, it has started speculating that Shubman Gill may be banned in IPL or Gill will have to pay match fees for this clash with the umpire.
What is the whole matter of Shubman Gill?
On Friday, there was a competition between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans, in which GT won the match easily. But GT captain Shubman Gill clashed with the umpire twice in this match. Gill for the first time clashed when the third umpire called him run out. Gill questioned the decision of the match referee umpire.
Shubman Gill also clashed with the on-field umpire. For Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma, Gujarat appealed for LBW, but the third umpire declared the verdict in favor of Abhishek Sharma, calling him not out. Shubman Gill was enraged against this decision of the third umpire and there was a strong debate with his on-field umpire.
Shubman Gill broke this law
Shubman Gill has violated Article 2.8 of IPL Code of Conduct. In the IPL, this article is related to the umpire’s decision. In this, if a player speaks against the decision of the umpire or expresses excessive disappointment on the decision of the umpire, then the board can take action against him.
Will Gill get punishment?
Shubman Gill may be warned after this debate with the umpire or the captain of Gujarat Titans may be fined 25-60 percent match fees. However, no official information has been revealed by the board regarding Shubman Gill.
