Shubman Gill Injury: Shubman Gill discharged from hospital, update came even after playing second test; Know here


Indian captain Shubman Gill has been discharged from the hospital. Gill was injured in the first Test match between India vs South Africa. He suffered from neck strain while batting in the first innings. According to India Today, Gill has now returned to the hotel and the test report has revealed that Gill is now better than before, is able to walk properly and move his neck properly. It is reported that the pain in Gill’s neck has also reduced.

Currently, Shubman Gill is under the supervision of the medical team in the team hotel. There is still doubt whether he will go to Guwahati for the second test match or not. How quickly Gill is able to recover in the next days, his performance in the second test will depend on this.

Let us remind you that Shubman Gill did not come to bat in the second innings due to neck strain. Even in the first innings he could play only 3 balls. Chasing the target of 124 runs, the Indian team was reduced to 93 runs in the second innings. As a result, it had to face a shocking defeat by 30 runs.

Gill went out of the field after suffering from pain in the first innings. After that he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was even seen wearing a belt around his neck. On Sunday, former Indian cricketer and current President of Cricket Association of Bengal, Sourav Ganguly, visited the hospital for some time to inquire about the condition of Shubman Gill. Ganguly told that Gill is better now.

South Africa is leading 1-0 in the 2 test match series. The second match will be played in Guwahati from 22nd November.
