A sensational case has come to light from Siddharthnagar in UP. Baba Saryu Das (74), a temple priest of a temple in the DDE police station area, died of a bullet under suspicious circumstances. The police have registered a case and started investigation. In the initial investigation, it is considered suicide. At the same time, many types of discussions are also going on in the town.
Please tell that the incident is on Saturday afternoon, when the sound of firing was heard from the room in the temple premises. The sevadar present in the temple told that at that time Baba Saryu Das was alone in his room and the room was closed from inside. Hearing the sound of the bullet, the serviceman ran towards the room, but due to the closure of the iron door, he could not go inside.
Immediately this information was given to the local people and the police. Police reached the spot and broke the iron door after hard work. Inside, the body of Baba Saryu Das was lying on the blood -soaked floor, he was shot on the temple, and a 315 bore domestic tamancha was recovered nearby.
Preliminary investigation of police
Giving information about the case, CO Itwa Shubhendu Singh said that prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide. The police have taken the body in possession and sent it for postmortem and the kattas recovered from the spot are being investigated. He said that the police is investigating keeping all the points in mind so that the exact reason behind the incident can be known.
Who are Baba Saryu Das?
According to the sevadars, Baba Saryu Das came to Dhaurahra village from Chitrakoot about seven years ago and he established the Bageshwari Dham Temple. Since then, he lived here and used to do worship and service work in the temple. He made the temple a major center of religious faith. Sevadars told that in recent times, Baba was seen worried, but did not give the cause of trouble. He often used to say that he has to go from here.

In the temple, there are resentment and questions about this incident among devotees who have deep faith in Baba Saryu Das. Villagers say that Baba Saryu Das had contributed significantly to religious and social work in the area.
