Bhojpuri folk singer Neha Singh Rathore has given a sharp reaction to the FIR registered against her and the ever increasing legal action through her new song. In this song shared on social media platform X, Neha openly expressed her frank opinion and took a dig at the police and administration. The very beginning of the song raises questions on society and administration – “Kashmir se Kanyakumari tak bayar ba, Deshwa mein hamara pe daraj ba baar baar…”.
In the song, he has said, “Sir, get FIR done on every conversation, leave it to threaten the daughters and daughters-in-law” and also questioned the attitude of emphasizing on women – “How manly is it to emphasize on women…”. Neha made it clear in her statement that she is neither going to run away nor back down from her views. He said that if the state government wants to arrest him, he is ready for it.

If the police comes, I will get arrested myself – Neha Singh Rathore
Talking to IANS, Neha said, what will be my reaction if I am arrested, I am not going to run away. If they come to arrest me, I will get arrested. If they come to shoot me, I will take the bullet. Last time also I had said that if they crucify me, I will be crucified. I have no choice.
UP Police is spreading lies- Neha
Neha also accused the police of spreading lies. He said that it is being claimed in the media that two teams have been formed to search for him, whereas neither he has received any notice nor his house was raided. Neha sarcastically said that I cannot do like Hanuman ji to show proof. All I can say is that I have not received any notice and talking about the so-called raid, I am in Lucknow.
I will not take any decision in haste- Neha
Regarding her next step, Neha said that she will not take any decision in haste. She is taking advice from her lawyer and will take further decision according to the legal strategy. He said that my next step will be taken after consulting my lawyer. Whatever seems right based on his advice will be done.
According to the information, this dispute started after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22, in which 26 tourists were killed. After this, Neha accused the central government on social media of doing politics on the basis of caste and religion and highlighted the failure of the security agencies. This new song of Neha not only reflects her outspokenness and courage, but also takes a dig at the coercive action being taken on women in the society. His lyrics are directly saying that freedom of song and expression cannot be stopped by any FIR or pressure.
