Shashi tharoor on sitaare zameen par: Senior leader, writer and public intellectual Dr. Shashi Tharoor has praised Aamir Khan’s new film Stars Zameen. He described it as an emotional and heart -touching film which also entertains and teaches something.
‘Whoever watches this film will get a lot to learn’
In a recent statement, Shashi Tharoor praised the film’s strong story and Aamir Khan’s brilliant acting. He said, ‘This is an emotional and heart touching film, which teaches a lot.’ Throor, known for appreciating good cinema, also said that ‘whoever watches this film will enjoy it, but you will also get to learn a lot.’
Tharoor also praised Aamir Khan’s best acting. He said, ‘Every performance of Aamir is fantastic, so I had the same hope this time. His acting in the film was the first class.

Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh will be seen in the lead role in ‘Stars Bhumi Par’, built under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. The songs of the film are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is given by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy. Its screenplay has been written by Divya Nidhi Sharma. The film has been produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit with Ravi Bhagchandka. R. S. This film, directed by Prasanna, has been released in theaters on 20 June 2025.
