Skoda Kylaq was introduced with an introductory price tag at the time of launching in the Indian market, attracted to early customers, but now Skoda has changed the prices of its sub-4 meter SUV Kellac. In fact, after the introductory period is over, the company has implemented new prices while reviewing the prices of all its variants, which has increased the price of some variants. Apart from this, the price of top variants has been cut.

The new starting price of Skoda Kylaq has now been Rs 8.2 lakh, whereas earlier it was Rs 7.89 lakh. That is, there has been an increase of 31,000 on the entry-level variants.

Increase in signature variants

The price of Skoda’s signature variants has also been increased by up to 36,000. Earlier the variant which was available for Rs 10.59 lakh, will now be available for Rs 10.95 lakh. This may be a slight shock for customers who prefer mid-level variants.

Top-end trims cheap

While entry and mid-variants have become expensive on the one hand, on the other hand the prices of top-end trims such as prestizes and Prestige AT version have been cut by more than Rs 40,000. Now the price of these variants starts at Rs 13.99 lakh.

5,000+ units sales every month

Kilec has proved to be a game changer for Skoda India. It has become the best -selling car in the brand and its monthly sales are more than 5,000 units. After the price amendment, it is expected that this figure will increase further, especially the trend of customers towards top variants may increase.

Engine and features

Skoda Kylak has been introduced in India with a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, which is available in both manual and automatic transmission options. It has powered seats which make driving more comfortable, while the advanced infotainment system gives the best experience of entertainment and connectivity. In terms of security, this car comes with features like 6 airbags. Apart from this, it also has advance features like cruise control and connected car technology, which makes it a strong and premium option in the rest of the sub-4 meter SUV segment.
