Sri Lanka has scored 168 runs in the first match of the Asia Cup Super-4. The Sri Lankan team was invited to bat first after losing the toss in this match. The Bangladesh team was seen making a comeback, Kusal Perera and Dasun Shanaka made a small but important partnership of 32 runs in the middle overs to return to Sri Lanka’s match.
After that Dasun Shanaka and Charith Asalanka together added 57 runs in just 27 balls. Captain Asalanka played a rage of 21 runs in 12 balls. Looking at his partnership, it seemed that Sri Lanka could also go to the score of 175-180. But in the last 2 overs, the Bangladesh team returned to a great extent. Bangladesh bowlers conceded just 15 runs in the last 2 overs and also dismissed three batsmen of the opposing team.
