In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Baroda’s wicketkeeper-batsman Amit Pasi equaled a 10-year-old world record in his first T20. He created a stir by scoring a century in his debut T20. On Monday, against Services, he played an inning of 114 runs in 55 balls, which included 9 sixes and 10 fours.
Amit Pasi has become the third Indian batsman to score a century in T20 debut. Let us tell you that 26 year old Amit Pasi was included in the team as a replacement for Jitesh Sharma, he has already made a name for himself by playing a historic inning in the first match.

Amit Pasi has become the joint highest run scorer on T20 debut. He has equaled the world record of Bilal Asif of Pakistan. Pakistani batsman Bilal scored 114 runs in his debut T20 while playing for Sialkot Stallions against Falcons.

Won Player of the Match award in debut match
With the help of Amit Pasi’s century, Baroda made a huge score of 220 runs in 20 overs. Although Services put up a tough fight, the team was seen fighting till the end. Kuwar Pathak (51) and Ravi Chauhan (51) scored half-centuries, although the team remained 14 runs short of the target. Baroda won the match by 13 runs. Amit Pasi was chosen the best player of the match.
After this victory, Baroda team is at third place in the points table of Group ‘C’ with 16 points. The team has won 4 out of 7 matches, while lost 3. This was the sixth defeat out of 7 for Services. Services is at the bottom of the points table, at number 8.
