The marriage of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has ended. Smriti and Palash were in news for marriage for a long time. But now Smriti herself has confirmed by posting that the marriage has broken.

He wrote- In the last few weeks, a lot of speculations were being made about my life. I feel it is important for me to speak out at this time. I am a very private person and I want to keep my life like that. But let me make it clear that the marriage has been cancelled.
She further wrote, ‘I want to end this matter here. I request all of you to do the same. I request you to respect the privacy of both the families at this time. Give us a chance to move forward. I believe we all have a bigger purpose and for me that has always been to represent my country at the highest level. I hope that I keep playing for India as long as I can and keep winning trophies and my focus will always remain there.

Palash wrote, ‘I have decided to move forward in my life and take a step back in personal relationships. It pains me to see the way people react to baseless rumors that scare me. This was the most difficult phase of my life. I will deal with it gracefully. I hope that as a society we will learn to stop before judging someone based on gossip that has no source. Our words can hurt people. When we are thinking about these, how many people in the world are suffering the consequences of this. Let us tell you that Palash and Smriti were going to get married on 23rd November. The pre-wedding functions of their marriage had also started. The photos of haldi and mehendi had gone quite viral. But then suddenly news came of Smriti’s father’s ill health. Smriti’s father was admitted to the hospital and after this the marriage of Smriti and Palash was postponed. Palash was also accused of cheating, on which Palash has now reacted.
