Music composer Palash Muchhal and cricketer Smriti Mandhana were going to get married today (23 November 2025). But last night Smriti’s father Srinivas Mandhana’s health deteriorated, after which their marriage has been postponed. Meanwhile, the videos of Palash and Smriti’s sangeet ceremony are going viral. In these, Smriti’s father is seen performing for his daughter on many songs.
Srinivas Mandhana looked great in blue colored sherwani at the sangeet ceremony of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal. He performed the song ‘Kudmai’ for his daughter, the video of which is viral on social media.
In the second video, Smriti’s father is seen dancing to Na Re Na Re. In another video, he is also seen dancing with Smriti.
Smriti Mandhana’s father felt symptoms of heart attack
Director of Sarvhit Hospital, Dr. Naman Shah talked about Smriti Mandhana’s father. He told- ‘Smriti Mandhana’s father Srinivas Mandhana felt symptoms of heart attack after having chest pain on the left side at around 11:30 pm. He was immediately shifted to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Center in Sangli for further investigation. His cardiac enzymes are slightly elevated, yet he needs constant observation. Our cardiologist, Dr. Rohan Thanedar has also examined him. Nothing new has been found in the echocardiogram.
Dr. Shah further said- ‘However, they may require continuous ECG monitoring and if necessary, angiography. Right now his blood pressure is slightly increased, so he needs constant monitoring. This could be due to physical or mental stress, perhaps because it is the wedding season and there is a lot of busy activity.
