This was said during the introduction of online gaming promotion and regulation Bill, 2025 in the Lok Sabha. Turban action on violation of law

Under this bill, action will be taken mainly by the state governments against companies involved in money gaming. Anyone who operates online money gaming by violating the law can be imprisoned for up to three years or a fine of up to Rs 1 crore or both. There is a provision of imprisonment of up to two years /or fine of up to Rs 50 lakh to those who violate the rules, or both.

Crores of rupees immersed by investors

Here, as soon as the online bill passed in both houses, there was a stir in the gaming industry. The shares of listed companies of this sector recorded a huge decline. Due to this, crores of rupees of investors were destroyed. In the last two days, there has been a decline of 14 percent in shares of view technologies.
