Virat Kohli might occasionally post his personal views on social media. Now one of his posts has set social media on fire (Virat Kohli Latest Tweet), which is being linked to his 2027 World Cup plan. Recently, the future of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has been in discussion. Meanwhile, Virat posted on X and wrote that you fail only when you accept defeat.
Virat Kohli was practicing regularly in London before the Australia series. Even after reaching Australia, he has worked hard in the nets. He wrote in his recent social media post, “You really fail only when you give up.”
Just a few days ago, the Chief Selector of Team India had given a controversial statement that both Virat and Rohit are not committed to the 2027 ODI World Cup. He said that if both the senior players are fit then they should play in domestic cricket.
But now it seems as if Virat has tried to put all the rumors to rest through his social media post. His tweet is being seen as if he is in no mood to ‘give-up’ i.e. take retirement.
No one is even close to Virat in ODI
Virat Kohli can be called the best ODI batsman of the modern era, his figures are also a testimony to this. Virat Kohli is currently the third highest run scorer in ODI cricket. He has so far scored 14,181 runs in 302 ODI matches. He has the highest number of centuries (51) in this format.
Scoring more than 14 thousand runs and maintaining an average of 57.88 in such a long career is a big achievement in itself. Virat can surpass Kumar Sangakkara’s record of 14,234 ODI runs in the ODI series against Australia.
