A case of suicide of a minor teenager has come to light in Mohol taluka of Solapur district in Maharashtra. The incident is said to have happened around 7 pm on March 1. According to the police, a 13-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself with a saree at his home following a dispute in the family over the use of mobile phone.
Pennur village incident
This incident happened in Pennur village of Mohol taluka. The deceased has been identified as Yashraj Dharamraj Doke. It is being told that he liked to watch social media reels. He became angry when his family refused to let him use his mobile phone, so he hanged himself with the help of her saree on the iron angle of the bedsheet of the house.
When he did not open the door of the room after some time, the family members became suspicious. When the door was broken, he was found inside in an unconscious state. The family immediately took him to the nearest private hospital and later to the government hospital in Mohol, where the doctors declared him dead.
Police registered the case
Information about the incident was given to Mohol police station. Aaba Dattatreya Doke informed Mohol police station about the matter and a case of accidental death has been registered. Police constable Nale is investigating further.

This incident once again raises serious questions about the increasing mobile dependence and mental sensitivity among children. Experts say that communication and emotional support with teenagers is very important.
